I love this theme. The only thing I can't figure out is how to link the individual portfolio pages to the thumbnails, so that when you click on them, the ajax slider images come up. What obvious thing am I missing?
Hey Maggie,By the looks of it, the AJAX loading should work - so could you please zip-up the whole site and send it over so we can do some tests and see what is the issue.Thanks,Nick
Oh great, thanks Nick! Here you go! I haven't finished the individual portfolio pages yet, but if you get me started on the first two, I can finish the rest. They'll all be static images like this, no video.
And is there any way to add a pop-up window so I can insert some legal jargon?
hi Nick, any luck figuring out the glitch? I've posted it on maggieparr.com.
Still waiting for an answer on this issue? Now moved my site over to darkparr.com. Please respond.
Per curiosity, I have dowloaded the zip file. Nice !
Than you should examine the link in the original files and reproduce exactly the same.
I have perhaps a easier solution. Feel free to contact me on my mail : firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi Maggie,Sorry for the late reply. If your issue is still not solved, let me know and I'll jump in to help with what I can.Thanks,Nick
No luck in figuring it out yet. See darkparr.com. Someone else suggested I re-download the original template and duplicate those links--but the original downloaded files don't work either.
<div class="col-12 col-md-4 dark_angels">
should be instead:
<div class="col-12 col-md-4 project show dark_angels">
The classes `project` and `show` have to be returned on each project thumbnail you changed the classes for and functionality should be back to normal.Thanks,Nick
Thanks Nick -- that fixed the filtering problem, but the thumbnails still don't link to the portfolio slider pages. The scenia template I downloaded doesn't have active links either. Please see darkparr.com. Thanks!
Hey Maggie the thumbnails now work fine for me, once I click - the linked project opens up fine for me. Am I missing something here, that's still not working for you?
Hi Nick -- that's so strange, it's still not working on my end. I tried Safari and Firefox. The thumbnails don't trigger any portfolio slider. It says "loading error" above the image. Any suggestions?
This sounds like caching. Have you tried the site in an incognito window?
Hi again, Nick -- it does work in Google Chrome. How can I get it up and running in all browsers, including iOS devices?
I tried an incognito page, no success. I also dumped my cache, still no help. Any suggestions?
I've tested with Safari on both macOS and iOS and it seems to work fine for me, I'm just guessing that something is really stuck in your cache.
